Terms and Conditions for the Cooking Competition

1. Eligibility:

•The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years and above of African descent.

•All participants must register prior to the event date.

•Professional chefs and culinary students are welcome to participate.

2. Registration:

•Registration must be completed by 15/09.

3. Competition Rules:

•Ingredients will be provided by the organizers, but participants may bring special ingredients with prior approval.

•Cooking time is limited to 2 hours.

•Dishes must be presented to the judges within the allocated time. Late submissions will not be accepted.

4. Judging Criteria:

•Dishes will be judged based on taste, presentation, creativity, and adherence to the theme.

•The judges’ decision is final and binding.

5. Audience Participation:

•The audience will have an opportunity to taste and vote for their favorite dish.

•Audience votes will count towards the final score.

6. Prizes:

•Prizes will be awarded to all three participants.

•Details of the prizes will be announced on the day of the event.

7. Code of Conduct:

•Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards other contestants, judges, and audience members.

•Any form of misconduct or violation of the rules may result in disqualification.

8. Liability:

•The organizers are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the competition.

•Participants are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their equipment.

9. Media Consent:

•By participating in the competition, participants consent to the use of their images and videos for promotional purposes by the organizers.

10. Amendments:

•The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants prior to the event.

11. Cancellation:

•The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified
